Anybody into writing? Here are some contests...

Hi, any of you into writing? I know that some of you are...Would love to meet up with you writers out there, regardless of what topics you usually cover. Anyway, here are some contests on creative writing currently running, which are open to anybody in the world:

Short Story Competition; 1 500 words or fewer; deadline is Thursday, December 01, 2005.
2. http://www.writersdigest.com/contests/PopFiction/
Enter any of the following categories: Romance, Mystery/Crime Fiction, Sci-fi/Fantasy, Thriller/Suspense and Horror; 4 000 words or fewer; deadline is November 01, 2005.
3. http://www.nanowrimo.org/
Novel writing competition; 175-page (50 000-word); deadline is midnight, November 30, 2005.

Contests 1 and 2 sound appealing and should be 'fun' to enter, altho' the deadline for contest 2 is a bit tight . But in my opinion, the task to complete in contest 3 is a bit too overwhelming, don't you think?? Good luck to those who wish to participate...
